You've probably put your finger on it, as there are updates for Windows, 
Firefox, ZoneAlarm and Adobe Flash Player all on the go at present.

Because the radio PC is running sensitive real-time processes, it's a 
good idea to install the absolute minimum of other software, and then 
set all kinds of automatic updating to "Notify only".
