[UK-CONTEST] Beru - HQ Stns.

I would support Clives suggestion. Apart from the 'national pride' issue, (and why not?) it will create additional interest for all participants in what is a slow contest but why should this benefit just overseas entrants to the exclusion of uk participants? At the same time very careful consideration needs to be given as to how other uk stn's can be included.

However such consideration to include uk stn's would require running numbers on previous results to learn just what effect any new formulae would have.

Based on the present scoring system overseas entrants would gain 20 pts bonus per contact, uk stns would gain 25 points. There would be an extra 6 entities available for uk to work which would be a differential of 30 pts per band, however there is a potential of 5 bands to be worked giving a potential uk gain of 150 pts.
Operating from Cyprus I could live with that as we also have potential to make those 5 banders, but what about the vk/zl, ve4/5/6/7 guys? Every band they don't make puts them at a 25 pt disadvantage.
To summarise this would be a desirable amendment but needs careful aforethought before making any kneejerk changes.
