[UK-CONTEST] G4JQL: An angel heavily disguised?

Hello,

Now that the children are all grown up, my lovely wife Sandra (G4JQL) appears to have taken leave of her senses! What am I to do? How can I cope with this odd behaviour? Is she adequately insured?

I will let her explain:

Last year, I was fortunate to be given an award by my employer, LexisNexis, for a project I was involved in over the summer. Little did they realise at the time that I would use this award to do the most adventurous (and dangerous) thing that I have ever done in my life! I've always fancied doing a parachute jump but have never got round to it. If I'm honest, I've never quite been brave enough. I'm not sure what's changed now but the jump is booked and, thanks to LexisNexis, paid for!

Having decided to do the jump, it seems a shame not to use it to benefit people other than just myself. So I've decided to ask for sponsorship, with all funds pledged going to a project in my local community.

I'd really appreciate it if you'd consider sponsoring me. To make it easy-peasy for you to do this, I've set up a fundraising page for the jump on Just Giving. You can find my page and donate by using the following link:

     www.justgiving.com/sandrawayman

If you're a UK tax payer, Just Giving will handle claiming the tax back on your donation under the Gift Aid scheme which will make your sponsorship even more valuable. But whatever amount you can sponsor me for will be much appreciated by the people of Crossways, Dorset (where I live).

Fundraising - or maybe just jumping out of planes - seems to be infectious as 3 other mature (in years if not behaviour!) ladies have now decided to take the plunge - quite literally - and jump with me, all on behalf of the same project. We're calling ourselves the Crossways Falling Angels. (By the way, that's "falling", not "fallen"!) Let's face it, this is probably the only time I'm going to be called an angel!

Thanks for taking the time to read this. I hope you can visit the fundraising page to find out about the project we're supporting even if you can't sponsor me. And please feel free to pass this email on to anyone who may be interested.

If you wish to know more about the project, please visit:

The site is currently being brought up to date but please keep checking for news of the project and exciting events that are being planned to support it.

Many thanks,

Sandra

You see what I mean!

What did I do to deserve it? HI.
I must say, I am a bit envious, though. Not, however, envious enough to jump myself!

Sorry it's off topic.

John & Sandra
