Dear All, Many thanks for the replys. I have sent the mail here, as I know
all those concerned will receive it.
The story so far. Justin G4TSH came round, and we done some mast
maintainence. We also set up the digital voice keyer. This gave us the echo
symptoms.
We then went out and finished of the mast maintainance.
When we went back into the shack to have another go at the echo problem. We
found a new one.
When starting to record your CQ. You find that there is rather a lot of
noise. Just hit the shift and F1 key and lots of noise and crackling start
up. We had not changed anything in the meantime.
I have since tried just about every combination of tick boxes but all have
zero effect.
Any ideas, or is it possible with all the crackling I am receiving, that
either my rig or computer have caught Swine Flu
All the best 73 Nigel G0VDZ.
