I know that Ray has raised this several times, and each time there have been a number of voices raised in agreement (mine included)  and each time it seems to have been completely ignored by the "management".   

Perhaps we could have a clear statement this time ( I don't think we have had that yet) from someone at RSGB central of

a)  Will this be considered?

b) If not - why not?

I think Rays suggestions are excellent for promoting inter UK VHF activity - there would no longer be much incentive for those in the centres of population to keep their beams pointing to the continent filling up their log with DL squares - why am I repeating this, Ray has already said it clearly enough and I cannot fault the logic.   Please can we have this properly considered with a very good reason to be given if its not tried.
