The G8VR 3-ele is certainly one of the best for its size. With a few
minor tweaks it can be adapted to a split dipole feed through a choke
balun, which I found much quieter than the gamma match on receive. My
present version is now on the front of the OB6/3M, adding a fourth band
with no increase in turning radius and not using any space on the mast.
Don't know about Moonraker, but Sandpiper are more than happy to supply
bundles of raw materials to roughly the same sizes as their advertised
kits.
