Hi Ray
Sorry but I'm with Roger with this one: my vote is to keep it as 599 001 : I
feel the added benefit of a "shift" character pair between report and
exchange gives a second bite to at least receive the exchange correctly more
often (indeed that's why I prefer space to hyphen too, even though hyphen is
slightly quicker to send) - is worth it.
Guess its down to personal preference but I'd prefer to RX / TX an exchange
without needing a repeat :-)
Sorry but I use MMTTY/N1MM and FLDigi/Logger32 so can't comment on your
Cabrillo question.

Hi Roger LDI,
Sorry to disagree but can everyone please set their macros to 599001 with no
break? If you use MMVARI straight (as I do) if the serial is detached you
get a window which requires another mouse click to drop it into the MY
REPORT box. I know it is not a big deal but it is another chance to make a
mistake.
BTW does anyone know why it is that the real time log in MMVARI adds RY or
PSK as appropropriate but when you translate to the Cabrillo version all the
QSOs come ut as RY? Is there a quick fix?
