What gets me is not so much the resistance to new technology in some of
these posts (KST, Skimmer, SCP, etc), but the lack of trust - that someone
MIGHT be using or doing something which they say they are not. And if you
are not, this might give them an unfair advantage over you.
Unless those who abuse the system can be named I see this as no more than
lack of trust.

Great for experimenting certainly, but surely this is a
contesting forum?

Does that somehow validate its use by contesters? Are we
