Thanks to all - Dave, Andy, Bob and John, for valuable comments.
I probably will never put up some of the huge arrays that you do as I am
almost always a single op so It's looking good for what I need.
The vertical load of the kr-400 is spec'd at 200Kg, I suspect I'll never get
this heavy - I'm only a mere 85 Kg!
I'll be using the rotator for the first time this week-end to turn the 2
metre talkback aerial for the first 3cms cumulative. I'll also put a
lightweight Moxton rectangle up for 70 MHz as well. Location will be /P
IO94LI on the N Yorks Moors.
