The Commodity Code you want to use is: 851770 90 00 'Apparatus for transmission or reception of data - parts - other' and is zero rated so you won't pay any import duty. I am regularly importing various radio bits for non-ham purposes and use this tarriff code for transmitters and receivers. It is also the code which Elecraft are currently using.
You shouldn't have to pay US State Sales Tax as others have pointed out, but you will have to pay VAT on import, currently 15% but due to increase in January, and this will be calculated on the value of the goods plus shipping costs.
