Very quick summary from here, conditions were pretty flat from here,
plenty pings and bursts to tempt me into believing that if things would
improve there would be dx to be had but little transpired in way of
tropo for me. Only managed to be on for maybe 4 hours but was also able
to listen on and off.
North / South inter UK tropo was a little better than East / West.
Clive VVX and Stewart AFF thumping into GW, significantly louder than
any of the SE stns, well done guys.
Worked a few DL's and PA's ODX 899km and a rather dubious 1023Km. worked
the dozen or so UK stns that I could hear calling CQ.
Noticeably absent were a couple of regulars from the SW in IO70/71/80
A few new calls heard on the band and a couple of rather clicky signals
but none close enough to be strong enough to cause trouble here.
There was a portable stn who couldn't seem to make his mind up which
square he was in which gave me a smile, its so much easier to send your
home square isn't it. Anyway I "guessed" based on what was sent to me
and what I though was sent to the previous qso, judging by a later
cluster spot and google earth I guessed wrong :-)
The only dx I worked needed resort to high power and relied on a mix of
weak tropo and mainly MS so I won't be able to place an entry but
worthwhile anyway.
The important thing is - people were on, which is good.
