Indeed - I don't miss STANAG and mil docs at all...

Chapter 9.1, para 10 of the hf document looks interesting, as does the
penultimate recommendation on page 9-1.

I just hope that any format that comes along in the future is
developed by people who look more widely than their own area of
interest.
