I seem to remember that one fix is to disconnect the 'ringer' wire for extensions within the main phone socket, as I believe that it is obsolete.... sorry, I dont have any further details.

Subject: [UK-CONTEST] ADSL modem RFI

Hello uk-contesters

I've searched the archives unsuccessfully - I am having trouble keeping 160m
and 80m RF out of our ADSL (WiFi) modem - I seem to think there was a thread
about this on this reflector within the last 2 years ?

I've tried all the usual 'fixes' - probably the only real solution is to
simplify our obsolete wired phone system which is behaving like an antenna
within the house - but I would like to re-read the suggestions made
previously.
