I knocked up the OZ7C filter prior to the weekend with the same good
results as reported by Jan.

Maplin sell "RF Chokes" at 44 pence each. They don't stock 6.8uH so I
used 4.7uH and 2.2uH in series. At that price it's not worth the hassle
of winding your own!

Best £3.52 I've ever spent at Maplin - restored peace and calm to the
internet-hungry household. We had previously changed faceplates,
isolated the "bell wire" (very beneficial) and fitted ferrites, as
recommended here by various people, which cleared interference from
other bands but I was still limited to under 50 watts on 160m. Now I can
run 400 W with no complaints.
