Not quite as bad as the title suggests perhaps  -  but I have just
discovered that errors have been made, possibly by the RSGB events team, or
more likely their bank, in the amount deducted as payment for the event. I
was charged twice with the same booking details. 

The debit appeared on my bank account only yesterday as a payment to "New
Independent" which foxed me , I booked on August 7th !

 

I know we had a letter from "Suzanne and the team at NICE" recently
suggesting there were problems with "the bank processing card payments" ..

 

I suggest you check your debit details
