[UK-CONTEST] IOTA -" nul points" for Fixed-to-Fixed, pse!

My original (TIC) suggestion, in the road to the Summer Isles post, was to
reduce non-island to non-island Qs to one point.
This would hopefully maintain the interest of those who want to run for 24
hours but would diminish their pile-ups by focusing attention on 15 point
island stations. As non-island stations only complete against each other
this should have no effect on how they see the contest but would focus their
minds on the fact that the mult is king in IOTA. (Maybe need to look at the
rules regarding the single run station and the mult hunting station)
Bob (PJT) hit the nail on the head about encouraging the mini DXpeditions
with 100w and wire antennas. Last weekend you had real problems finding any
of them running for long periods of time. They are simply too easily
squeezed out of the band by the HP stations. It's often a long way and a lot
of cash for the pleasure of screaming CQ into a mike for 24 hours so
anything that boost the DXpeditioners QSO rate is welcome!
