If you want to send 599 then follow many of the East Europeans and send it at 
100 w.p.m. or even faster if you want to save more time.  


If you want to send a meaningful report then do so but most loggers default to 
599 and it takes more effort to edit it than your points are worth, unless you 
are a multiplier, so both ends loose points.  But most stations record contest 
activity and can easily check on any possible errors.

It seems from a previous posting that most on here don't like the introduction 
of Single Band entries.  I did a quick count of the number of entries from G, 
W1, W2, W3 ,W4 and European Russia to see how many single band entries entered 
the CQWW 2008 contest - All bands 507 Single Bands 173 so the total number of 
entries could be increased by about 25%.
