I have a J38 if anyone wants it. Not used one of these things for 20 years or so!
It could line up with this

THE FOC STRAIGHT KEY WEEKEND - 1/2 JANUARY 2011 by G3VTT
The Straight Key Weekend was well supported this last year and I think we should try it again - ('we' being those of us that still use mechanical bug
keys and pump keys!). If you don't like straight keys then skip this bit -or maybe just give it a try? The 1/2 January 2011 has been suggested as
fairly free with no major contests on the bands, and you are duly invited to operate on all bands with your straight key, bug key or any other
mechanical keying device, (I leave it up to you!). The timing will follow the BWQP event timing and start at 0000z and finish at 2359z over the
weekend. Instead of limiting bands and times as last year, let us just get on as conditions permit. Thanks to Brian, 9J2BO, for making this point!
Please send your logs by e-mail <mailto:g3vtt at aol.com> or post to me before the start of the Marathon and I will endeavour to insert your comments in
FOCUS along with the picture of the key you were using if you can supply one. Please tell me of the best fist heard for both bug and pump key. To
promote club interaction, I am going to inform FISTS and G-QRP again of our activities, so it might be good idea to get some practice in before then!
