And if you are going to review this rule, it also applies to the Low 
Power Contest (http://www.rsgbcc.org/hf/rules/2010/rqrp.shtml) where 
the limit is also 11m.

In my case 11m fits in well with my DK9SQ 10m mast. But the site I used 
this year had high trees which could also have served as supports - not 
sure I could have kept within the 11m limit if I did that, but could 
have been handy with a 15m limit.

As it happens my 90ft doublet was probably only around 8m at its centre 
and much lower at the ends, so well within the rules.
