[UK-CONTEST] Ripon & District ARS SSb Field Day 2010

Hello all,

 

Ripon and District Amateur Radio Society will be operating in this year's
SSB Field Day. We are entering the restricted section using a doublet as an
antenna and the rig is yet to be decided (706MKIIG or an IC 7000 are
possibles) - either way we'll not be running more than 100W.

 

We have designed a special QSL card for the event and will send this to
whosoever wants! We are operating from the village of Ellingstring, North
Yorkshire which has a lot of medieval field systems locally and a shed load
of early medieval history with Jervaulx Abbey being only a couple of miles
away.

Our operating base will be a pattern copy of a medieval Burgundian siege
tent and photos will be put on our Facebook page throughout the event.
