[UK-CONTEST] Operating a 24 hour contest and staying awake?

Hi Keith,
There's a link on my web site to an article I wrote about this. Go to
www.gm4aff.net and click the link "How to last 48 hours (in a contest)...".
Or click this to go directly - http://www.gm4aff.net/48hours.htm.
Only one thing said so far which I tend to disagree with - I would avoid
sugary foods. Protien is good, but like everything, only in moderation.
I find that if you're busy the 24 hours will just fly by, but if you're
sitting twiddling your thumbs you will suffer!
Good luck,
Stewart

I'm shortly going to be pulling a full 24 hour operating shift for an SSB
contest, do any of the old hands have any hints, tips, suggestions, advice
(apart from "don't do it") that would be useful for keeping awake and as
alert as possible for the duration?
