Hi Brian,
Curious that you commented on not working UK mults; I see my MD6V 20m only log shows 5 Cypriot QSO's' and Martin's MD4K 15m only log shows another 5 there. It is therefore a fact that we may have found a 5B early enough not to worry about working one later ! We would have been running for long periods of time, as you would expect, so generally the onus is for you to find us!
We did sweep bands usually at the start or end of the day; and were assisted of course.
Bob, MD2C (MD0CCE) was also very much in evidence on all bands; so you should be able to have found him too; in fact, I would wager it was him you worked. There were a couple of other GD's active too.
For GJ; Rich K2WR operated GJ2A; and was an all band effort; and again was running for most of the time. I am not sure if he was assisted or unassisted, since I know I had to find him!
Maybe the problem just goes with the territory of doing unassisted - you miss some easy mults on the bands, due to bad luck?
I am all for other G's planning expeditions or mini expeditions to bolster contest efforts and their own experiences!

>>My worst mlt gathering ever, not even near a full set of mainland G's. Solitary GJ, & GD's and zilch from GI or GU although I did >>hear them s&p'ing. (Andy, AI6V, get <<back to GI0KOW for cw event next year!) Never came across Chris on GZ. It really does >>surprise me why there are no guys who will travel to put on a multi op from GU <<or GJ as it is so close and easy travel. G0's >>+ MO's take note, the G3's &4's have done their bit in the past, it is now time for you!
