Quite a slow contest, but more points and more qso's than last year. Thank
goodness I had a "cq parrot". Activity was enlivened by a French contest for
the first couple of hours but it seems that many of them were not expecting
much activity from G and were beaming elsewhere. Likewise I did not know
there was a French contest in progress until kick-off.
I'd like to see the national societies get together and promote a European
VHF Contest Calendar. After all, our hobby is all about communication
..........
All points to Colchester Radio Amateurs team.
Rig: Elecraft K3 at 5w plus GS35B. 100w to 2 x 9 ele at 45ft or so.
Regards
John G4ZTR
