[UK-CONTEST] ARRL 10M Contest....

I had planned to give this contest a reasonable amount of air time and try
out a G0KYA half wave vertical.

Then on monday I got PLASTERED - the hospital variety - leg in plaster
toes to knee. So deploying the vertical did not happen.

Yesterday used my 30m longwire at 7m height to work SSB - 3 Ukraine,
5b4aif and a YO3 all between 0933hrs and 1006 hrs. Only had 2 get aways.

Tried couple of times in afternoon nothing heard.

This morning only heard one Ukrainian and 5z4aif. both worked yesterday.

Interestingly I listened to 5z4aif for half an hour of solid signal, he
worked 20 to 30 stations all around Europe but none of them came above the
noise floor at this location.

As getting to the shack on crutches is like climbing the north face of the
Eiger. I will have one more go around 1600 hrs.

regards
