[UK-CONTEST] BNOS Amplifier Information

Yep, I'm also looking for circuit information, but for the 160W 2M amplifier
- Have been looking for some time without success.

 

Alternatively, if anyone knows of anywhere to get these repaired, I'd be
interested to know.I've had a couple of 'we don't repair those any more'
type responses from well known radio suppliers.

This request is directed toward the U/VHF community. It may be slightly OT
but directly related to the UKAC events.

Does anyone have any circuit information for the BNOS U/VHF amplifiers?

I'm using 100W "bricks" in the Restricted Sections on both 2M and 70cm along
with my K3/P3 and transverter combination and need to modify the hard
switched PA delay times. The actual RF circuits are quite straightforward
and I've repaired several amps. What is more difficult, however, is tracing
the bias network and protection circuitry. A search on the Internet reveals
more requests for information than answers. I seem to remember someone was
selling circuit details on eBay over the summer so information is available
somewhere. I suspect that much of the information will be generic from one
BNOS PA to another even though the operating frequencies and model numbers
may vary. If anyone has any circuit information on any of the amplifiers I'd
appreciate a response to my email address. I could even post it on my web
site so it could be shared.
