I see the rules now keep CW into 1810-1850 and SSB above 1850. Therefore
rules now imply 400 watts maximum on and 32 watts maximum on SSB.
CW for the same peak power is at least 10dB better than SSB then add a
11dB power advantage CW is at least 21dB better than SSB in this
contest. Makes for some interesting decision making on a mixed mode
entry. May be start on SSB until exhausted then to CW to mop up G and EU
and hope for a good DX opening to the US? Or continuous mode swapping?
Any suggestion on the best strategy?
