Totally agree with your sentiments re DMU. However in your
day, if I might be so bold, it was presumably plain old, but
much loved, "Leicester Poly" - hi!

The 80m CCs are a great success. Loads of people just having
fun operating on the air. That's what it's all about. Long
may they continue.

Hi,
I operate for DeMontfort University ARS in the 80MCC
contests - why on earth is a GM station in Fife operating
for a club in the Midlands?  
Because I lived in the Midlands for 17 years and have a long
association with DMU club contest group.  I would be
extremely annoyed to find myself barred from operating with
the friends I made in DMU.  I am already excluded from
operating for them in AFS, so please leave things as they
are, my association with them is genuine and not a
convenience to maximise scoring!  I am sure there are others
in the same situation.
