[UK-CONTEST] Dual 6M/4M beams?

With a single feed-line dual-band 6M/4M beam you will be doing a lot of
plugging/unplugging to connect it
either to the 6M or 4M radio. That's assuming you don't have a modified FT-847
that can work on both bands.

So if it is the former case it is very useful to have a diplexer that can split
off the 6M and 4M components.

I can supply a .pdf of a Radcom article that describes how to build a high power
diplexer from coaxial cable sections.

It has circa 0.1dB insertion loss and more than sufficient isolation between
ports to allow both rigs to be connected
and run 100W+ on either band without blowing up the front end of the other
radio.

I described how to build a dual-band 6M/4M 8-element Yagi in the July issue of
PW.
