Rather than search for islands, I'd like a list of islands that I can browse
but I can't find it. I've always had this problem. What am I missing?

Subject: [UK-CONTEST] RSGB IOTA Contest

The Contest Committee is trying to get more UK stations to enter the RSGB
IOTA Contest -- participation from our own country is not too high by
comparison with others in their own flagship contests. This year, we are
offering a "Participation Certificate" to UK stations who make a reasonable
effort. If you know amateurs who could become more interested in
contesting, given a bit of a push, please point them in this direction.

There is a web page at www.rsgbcc.org/hf/iotahelp.shtml , with tips on
equipment, aerials and operating technique. This also explains the
requirements for the Participation Certificate. Anyone who has entered the
80m or VHF/UHF club contests might want to move on to more "substantial"
events, and of course, if we don't introduce newcomers to mainstream
contesting, this aspect of Amateur Radio will eventually die out!

Ed Taylor, GW3SQX
Chairman, RSGB Contest Committee
