[UK-CONTEST] 70MHz trophy contest

I have a bigger issue with the date, rather than the time. Stuffed between
VHF NFD, IARU and IOTA. What were they thinking about!? I've run out of
brownie points.

I'm with Bob on this one.

We're part way through assembling what we hope will be a competitive station
on the east coast, with two aerial arrays.

There is no flexibility on closing time at our site, which is run by the
local Council. It's going to be very tight getting all the gear down and
away. If we rush, it increases the potential for breakages or accidents.

I vote for a return to an earlier start (and finish).

Good luck all !

Yes the time change is most unfortunate and un-welcomed by our small team of
3 who have travelled to GM for the contest.

With a round trip mileage of some 1100 miles they have had to compromise on
the station since the later finish has left less time for dismantling.

Let's hope that the date/time change has an overall positive effect.

Good luck to all
