The fixed station entries were introduced some (many?) years ago. It is 
just the calendar entry which says 'field day', the linked rules are 
'Low Power Contest'.

In these rules I spotted a minor error. Rule 3(1) at 
http://www.rsgbcc.org/hf/rules/2010/rqrp.shtml states "A Portable 
station is defined in General Rule 6." This should be General Rule 5. 
And there is a one hour lunch break (very civilised) from 12-13z, which 
is not mentioned in the calendar.

I have been eyeing up a couple of sites for this event so if I can get 
myself organised and it is not bucketting down with rain I shall give 
it a go. I last did it /P in 2002.
