Hi,

We don't need more than one, BUT, this one has been mainly used by HFers until recently. I only came across it at the end of last year. The other one is still active, but seldom used, I believe.

I'm all in favour of one site, but there have been veiled references in mails to the effect of " this is HF, keep out". I've ignored them and carried on posting. 

VHF and HF have common ground, but they also have distinct differences, these have to be considered in any decisions going on for contests. Trying to simplify things for both with the same rule will lead to problems in some cases.
