It doesn't really matter, although as an HF operator with very little 
interest in VHF having seperate lists would be better.

The blacksheep list dates from the time when the VHF contest site was 
hosted at blacksheep. It uses the old Majordomo software which is also 
extremely ancient. The LF reflector is as far as I am aware the only 
very active list remaining on blacksheep, when it works it is fine but 
all contact with the blacksheep organisers seems to have vanished.

With the merger of the HF and VHF contest committees and merging of 
sites under the rsgb domains there does seem to be some merit in 
merging them, or maybe setting up a new VHF one at contesting.com to 
replace the blacksheep one. Having to subscribe to two seperate lists 
if your interest is in both surely is a trivial issue, though I suspect 
there will always be a measure of cross posting.
