Andy,
Get the builder to cut a hole or holes at a suitable height above ground (whatever that is in your situation) as if fitting a tumble drier vent (vents). Then don't fit the louvre thing on the outside. Bring all the cables in through the hole and stuff a bit of rag in to stop the draught. Works a treat!

Subject: [UK-CONTEST] OT. how to bring coax through new wall?

Off topic, but not sure where else to ask.

I'm having an extension built on the house and part of this extension is a
new shack. I'm trying to find the best way to bring my coaxial cables
through the wall into the shack.

There's a selection of cables ranging from LDF5-50, LDF4-50 and 1/2 a dozen
RG213.

Anyone got any suggestions on the best way?

Andy
