Thanks. I think they're on Mk3 now but don't know what the difference
is. There's no way that it can defy the laws of
physics/electromagnetism, so the radials would be as necessary for any
quarter wave vertical of course.
I assume your issue with the beam is the 3el SteppIR? I must admit to
some scepticism about the reliability of the system, but have only ever
heard of one problem to date ( with a 3el actually) which was quickly
corrected.
