 From the contest rules:

Entrants may omit the /P suffix if using a special contest callsign, 
that is callsigns consisting of a single 'G' or 'M', a regional locator 
(if operating outside England) and a single suffix letter. This does not 
preclude the use of /A or /M where appropriate.

/I'm not altogether sure whether this particular contest is included in 
the list of contests where short contest calls are allowed.
