[UK-CONTEST] Contest Definition

Guys

I am giving a talk to the local ARC on contesting. I am trying to put 
together a slide for the newly licensed that summarises what a radio 
contest is. To be honest I am struggling a bit to be succinct but also 
comprehensive within one slide. If some one has done this before then 
could they please share it with me?

Rather than fill the reflector please rely direct.
