Trevor,
Welcome to the club! A lot of us have been through this. The problem is that
your sound card needs calibrating as there is a small difference between
your Tx and Rx frequencies. There should be instructions on how to do this
in your data mode program help files. Personally my PCs built in sound card
was too far out to pull it in and I had to go to an external sound card. I
changed my sound card interface Signalink 1+ to a Signalink USB which has
it's own sound card, that solved the problem.

Subject: [UK-CONTEST] DATA
In the last DATA CC contest I was asked to TURN YOUR RIT OFF. How would I do
this
I am not sure if I was causing any problems during the contest using RTTY.
2 months ago I had a problem with my signal on PSK31 and was sent an email
from the Contest Committee warning me things were not right with my set up.
I made all the changes suggested
I will get their one day.
