No explanation is required. Your entry was adjudged to be in breach of
a rule. The back story behind it (all this whining about your father
not being part of the group, etc) is irrelevant. Nothing you could
have said changes the facts - your station was spotted multiple times,
immediately after band changes, by someone closely associated with the
entry, and by someone who might have been the same person or might
have been you.

Clearly you're not concerned that your entry broke the rules of the
contest, then.
