Best not mention the CC (aka BERU) here then and the corresponding
Commonwealth Century Club awards.

Actually, being more interested in DXing than contesting I've
usually milked contests for my own DXing needs rather than contest
entry. However, over the past year or so I've slowly increased my
activity in the big contests to make this a less one sided deal.
Though to be a bit perverse I've made use of my Logger32 reporting
to avoid, in many cases, the big stations I've worked many times
before and gone for uniques whilst S&P.

The UK stations seem to turn out in reasonable force for BERU.
Excluding the big players there is a high proportion of serials in
the 1-10 range. I get the feeling that running late on in the
contest at sub 20wpm and sticking with the little signals when they
call maybe encourages more timid callers.

So maybe 21/28 needs a good dose of advertising both home and away,
I didn't know it was on this year thinking it was already dead. The
12 hour format is wipe-out for me, not a hope in hell of competing
with short skip EU stations but that wouldn't stop me from putting
it about a bit conditions permitting.
