[UK-CONTEST] CAT and SD

Hi, just started to try to get SD working with an IC7000, USB - CAT cable
and a USB only laptop.

I loaded my cable driver file, plugged in Cable and radio. used ports to set
up the com port.

If I go to SD and in the callsign type in a frequency the radio changes to
correct frequency.

But I am getting no feedback of the frequency to the SD log nor when I move
the transceiver frequency.

Before I dive into the ICOM manual and start playing with the laptop com
ports am I likely to be doing something very basic that is wrong??
