Yes, I originally planned to do just that but plans have been changed 
now that I have been give the chance for a nice mountain location with a 
terrific view to VE and Europe :-) I'll have loads of room for wire 
antennas and have been promised as many poles as I need!

I used a 40m vertical, with five radials over the beach, for the 
Sheffield Amateur Radio Club  MM3M effort in the 2008 IOTA contest when 
we camped at Seal Bay on the Southern end of Arran. The difference it 
made being within a few feet of the sea was incredible.

I'm picking Nick G4FAL's brains on this :-) He's our local club  BERU 
Guru ! I'm very familiar with CC/BERU from the UK end of course.
