[UK-CONTEST] Remote operating

This is a contesting reflector BTW... but

I'm just as uncomfortable with a "remote" non-contest QSO as a contest QSO.

Having the usual rag-chew about the weather and what the operator did last
night is part and parcel of the QSO. One of my favourite QSOs was with a
chap in Barbados. He was watching a West Indies v England Test Match at the
time.

My mind wandered off and imagined him sitting.... wearing sunglasses
...........in his hot car.... ......in the blazing sun..... watching the
"live" cricket............... ..while sipping a cold beer.

If it turned out that he was in fact sitting................ wearing a
headset............ in his cold shack..... on a cold day.......... watching
the cricket on Channel 4.....while sipping a tepid cup of tea.....

I would feel cheated.

If I am talking to a "station" in Barbados, I expected the op to be in
Barbados (along with all the station equipment).
