I'm more intrigued by the concept of importing some of that
military technology into amateur radio, it would certainly add an
interesting dimension to contesting!

Just imagine - the MoD admits that the use of remote-controlled
weapons raises "huge legal and moral issues".
If this is an issue in warfare (the ultimate contest), could there be
parallels in amateur radio contesting - especially across national
boundaries?
