[UK-CONTEST] UK Callsigns

It would be nice if the short contest personal call just became a permanent
call.
I really don't like GM0 especially on CW it takes too long to send.
At least NAI is a bit shorter and the GM gains me an effective 10bd
advantage :-)

As mentioned in previous posts it is crazy that a foundation licence holder
MM6 has a better call
Than a full licence holder. Not much of an upgrade path!
I am not sure how many full licences are being issued in recent years but it
seems to me lots of people get the foundation or intermediate
but never bother to get the advanced as they already have HF access and no
one bothers about what power they use.
In the US I have an extra class licence that even without vanity calls gives
a better call allocation than a novice or technician.

Wound down both towers and tilted over the verticals in readiness for severe
gales on the way :-(

Thank you for reminding me how fundamentally awful the UK callsign
allocation system is. Haven't these people heard of computers?
