Well, David, you were my only contact. I knew I wouldn't be on air
for the whole contest, but after only working you - 10 miles away - in
the first 25 minutes, and not hearing any other G stations I couldn't
summon up the enthusiasm to go back to the radio after the enforced
break.
I heard a handful of continental stations in QSO with each other, but
even the DX seemed dead compared with what I'd been hearing a couple
of nights earlier at a similar time.
