Well I didn't bother to read most of Gordon's post...

I didn't have the chance to look at ARRL DX this year as I was away for 
the weekend (in snowy Bradford) so only had time to fill a couple of 
band slots before I left here. ARRL DX though is a slightly different 
contest, fine for the USA operator who can work all that juicy DX but I 
don't get any particular thrill sitting working just W and VE all 
weekend and usually give it a miss.

But congrats to those who did take part.
