[UK-CONTEST] Alienation

Tammie, you won't be alienated here because a) you are female in a male
dominated hobby and b) you ask questions and c) you normally seek help with
a foundation class callsign. Your posts so far haven't pushed forward a
debate or an opinion. It is clear that if anyone asks for help here, they're
going to get it.
It's opinions and debate that's the issue. If you don't think along a
certain train of thought, you don't conform to the committee's agenda,
they'll wait for you to pass before stretching back out their armchairs.
Most of the people here will be dead (including me) before someone finally
realises that they could have done much, much more to grow this hobby in a
world where "we" are being completely sidelined and looked upon as weirdoes
in an internet-centric world.
C.

I wonder if I still class as a "newbie" in contesting?
Either way, I'm not alienated by the posts... it's always interesting to
read everyone's point of view in something and their opinions.
Sometimes I even learn something!
Just a thought... a nice cup of tea solves a lot of problems sometimes :-)
