Hello John et al

Conditions on 2m were poor up here 800km from London. The abilities of the 
operator at the far end then becomes more important - from my perspective 
there was generally way too much waffle which meant short openings were 
missed.

I heard at least 10 portable stations that I could have worked if the 
operators had been sharper.
