Yes, it's a real shame when DXpeditions fill the band with callers. With
half-way decent receivers and operators' ears that's really not necessary.
One thing which DXpeditioners often neglect in their planning stage is
pile-up simulation training. Some seem to expect that they can just switch
on and operate! In this particular case I guess that 15khz is not extreme
pollution.

Seems like contests are definitely not the only 'multi-activity' to be
moaned at.
Just worked the ST0 on 17 ssb; 2 mins later an HB9 calls CQ on his QRG and
was asked (semi-politely!) to QSY.
Then up squeaks a British voice "where can I go? - he is taking up half
the band". (the ST0 pileup was confined to 18150 - 18165).
Wonder if our squeaker will write to RadCom?
